Hi there!
Thanks for dropping by the portfolio of an interaction designer. Please feel free to take a look around! I look forward to working with you.
ModCartMy first assignment with Noviland Technologies. The first concept of the company's e-commerce platform was to connect shoppers with a platform that would supply free local delivery to Atlanta residents who needed a restock on household essentials, like
paper towels or dish detergent. |
ModCart Living
Eventually, we would pivot to a newer iteration of ModCart, where we'd leave the household essentials category, and focus on home goods that we could ship to shoppers throughout the country. It would still retain a lot of the design DNA that ModCart did, but with a warmer, mature vibe.

Funravl
When was the last time you went on vacation? What if you didn't have to go on expensive vacations to big theme parks? And what if you could discover (and plan) for fun and interesting experiences closer to home? For my Spring 2020 Senior Portfolio class, I led three other classmates through this journey in Goal Directed Design to create an app that would help users find fun expeditions without breaking their budget.

Ethnographic Report: eSports
What does eSports mean to you? How does it differ from traditional contact sports? Myself and a group partner decided to investigate the craze of competitive video gaming. Over the span of the 2019 summer semester, we spent some time with the Atlanta Royal Family, a large group of friends, fans and general enthusiasts of the Atlanta Reign, a professional eSports team that plays the popular arena shooter title, Overwatch. By using applied ethnography, we interviewed and got to know what the community was about.

Horizon
Over the course of the Fall 2019 semester, my group and I undertook the challenge of designing a kiosk app for homeless shelters. The purpose of this kiosk was to streamline the coordination of services for homeless populations. This project had us practicing Lean UX and working as an Agile team. We consulted Jeff Gothelf and Josh Seiden's Lean UX to further understand how Agile teams are able to practice Lean UX.

Instructional Interface: Computer Maintenance
For my User Interface Design II class, I learned about important theories and principles that help strengthen the user experience in an interface. The final project for this class was a test to apply the culmination of what we learned into a user interface designed to teach the user how to perform a task. This work will show the user how to properly clean a laptop or desktop computer.

About Me!
I'm an enthusiastic and curious designer who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Design from Kennesaw State University in Spring 2020. I also took a minor in Technical Communication. Additionally, I have a bit of a background in art and design as I previously studied Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
I was born in Miami, Florida where I spent most of my life, living with my parents and two sisters. I got my Associates Degree in Art/Art Education from Miami Dade College in 2014, and moved to the Atlanta area a few months after I graduated. Some of my interest and hobbies include drawing, photography, and flooding my phone's storage with funny photos of my cat. Let's keep in touch! |
